Professor Woloch received the William G. Bowen Award for the Outstanding Book on Labor and Public Policy from Princeton University. The award is given to the author who makes the most important contribution toward understanding public policy associated with industrial relations and the operation of labor markets.
Dr. Woloch also received the the Philip Taft Labor History Book Award, presented by Cornell University and was given honorable mention for the David J. Langum, Sr. Prize for American Legal History/Biography from the Langum Charitable Trust in Birmingham, Alabama.
Professor Woloch is a graduate of Wellesley College in Massachusetts. She earned a master’s degree at Columbia University and a Ph.D. from Indiana University.
