One Woman Among Four Finalists for Dean Post at the University of Colorado

The University of Colorado at Boulder has announced a field of four finalists for the position of dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science. All four candidates will visit campus by the middle of May for interviews and public presentations. One of the four finalists is a woman.
Margaret R. Martonosi is the Hugh Trumbull Adams ’35 Professor of Computer Science at Princeton University in New Jersey. Professor Martonosi joined the faculty at Princeton in 1994. For three years she served as associate dean for academic affairs for the Princeton University School of Engineering and Applied Science.
Dr. Martonosi is a graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Stanford University.
