In Memoriam: Teodora Konstantinova, 1964-2016

konstantinova-1Teodora Konstantinova, a member of the internal medicine faculty at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, died on January 2 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Albuquerque. She was 51 years old.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Konstantinova was a practicing internist at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and at the Raymond G. Murphy Veterans Administration Medical Center in Albuquerque.

Dr. Konstantinova joined the faculty at the medical school in 2003. She received her medical training at the University of Medicine in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The Dr. Teodora Konstantinova Memorial Fund for Medical Education has been established in her honor at the medical school.
