In Memoriam: Heather Ann Hostetler, 1973-2015

Heather Hostetler, an associate professor of biochemistry and molecular biology at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, died on August 5. She was 41 years old and had suffered from gastric carcinoma.
Dr. Hostetler joined the faculty at Wright State in 2009 and recently was promoted and granted tenure. She focused on diabetes research. In September 2011, Dr. Hostetler had triplet girls.
Dr. Hostetler earned a Ph.D. at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She conducted postdoctoral research at Texas A&M University.
