Susan Lamb to Lead City College of San Francisco

lambSusan Lamb was appointed interim chancellor of City College of San Francisco. The two-year college enrolls more than 26,000 students. Women make up 52 percent of the student body. She is expected to lead the college through the 2015-16 academic year.

Lamb has been serving as vice chancellor of academic affairs at the college. Previously, she served for six years as vice president for instruction and accreditation liaison officer at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California. Earlier, she served for 13 years on the faculty at Contra Costa College in San Pablo, California.

Lamb holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas State University in San Marcus. She has completed course work for a doctoral degree at the University of San Francisco.
