Judith B. Greiman was appointed chief deputy of the president of Stony Brook University, a campus of the State University of New York System. Her appointment is effective July 1. Since 1998, Greiman has served as president of the Connecticut Conference of Independent Colleges. Earlier, she was chief administrative officer for the Connecticut State University System.
Greiman is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago.
Cindy Hess was promoted to senior vice president and chief academic officer at Tulsa Community College in Oklahoma. She has been serving as associate dean for communications at the college’s Southeast Campus.
Dr. Hess holds a bachelor’s degree in English, a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, and a doctorate in higher education administration, all from Oklahoma State University.
Lisa Watson was named the founding director of the LASPA Center at Scripps College in Claremont, California. The new center will provide resources and services to develop and support future women leaders.
Watson was the CEO of the Downtown Women’s Center, a nonprofit organization serving homeless women. In 2013, the center was named California Nonprofit of the Year by Governor Jerry Brown.

Professor Norman is a magna cum laude graduate of Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She holds a Ph.D. in classical art and archaeology from the University of Michigan.

A former world champion in track and field, Mondie-Milner holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communication and a master’s degree in leadership and organizational development from the University of Illinois. This spring she will receive a doctorate in educational leadership from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.

Dr. Sartorius holds bachelor’s degrees from Kansas State University and Wichita State University. She earned a master’s degree in American studies from the University of Maryland and a Ph.D. in history from Kansas State University.

Dr. Lassiter is a graduate of Binghamton University of the State University of New York System. She holds a master’s degree in clinical and community psychology from Georgia State University in Atlanta and a doctorate in health education from Columbia Teachers College.
