Kelly Montijo Fink, who has taught Spanish at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, was honored for the Best Compilation Album at the recent 15th Annual Native American Music Awards. She won the “NAMMY” for her album, “Don’t Let Me Forget.”
Fink is a 1992 graduate of Cornell College.
Hind Mari, director of the Women of Color Leadership Network at the Center for Women and Community at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst received the Wise Woman Award from the Standing Committee for Women of the American College Personnel Association.
