The New Dean of the College of Business at the University of New Hampshire

Merrill-SandsDeborah Merrill-Sands was named dean of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. She has been serving as dean of the Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business at Mills College in Oakland, California, for the past four years. From 2005 to 2010, Dr. Merrill-Sands was dean of the School of Management at Simmons College in Boston. She will begin her new role on March 23.

Dr. Merrill-Sands is a graduate of Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in economic anthropology from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
