Cathleen Moore to Lead the Psychonomic Society

Cathleen Moore, professor of psychology at the University of Iowa, was elected chair of the Psychonomic Society. The Psychonomic Society, founded in 1959, is the home for scientists who study how the mind works. The society publishes six academic journals.
Dr. Moore will serve for one year as chair-elect and then lead the organization in 2016. She has served on the faculty at the University of Iowa since 2007. Previously, she taught at Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Moore is a graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. She earned a Ph.D. in psychology at the University of California, San Diego.
