Suzanne M. Rivera was promoted to vice president for research at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Since 2011, she has been the associate vice president for research. Earlier, Dr. Rivera was vice president for research administration at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Rivera is a graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She holds a master of social work degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Reitumetse Obakeng Mabokela was appointed vice provost for international affairs and global strategies at the University of Illinois. She has been serving as a professor of education and assistant dean for international studies in education at Michigan State University.

Dr. Masucci joined the faculty at the university in 1997 and currently is a professor of geography. Earlier, she taught at Auburn University in Alabama and the University of West Georgia.
Professor Masucci is a graduate of Salisbury University in Maryland. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in geography from Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Jordana Pomeroy was named director of the Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum at Florida International University in Miami. Since 2012, she was the executive director of the Louisiana State University Museum of Art in Baton Rouge. She will begin her new job in January.
