Brittany Cord is a visiting instructor in accounting and management. She is a former instructor at Northeast Iowa Community College and has served as manager of financial planning at Texas A&M University. Cord is a graduate of the University of Iowa and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University.
Xiaolin Duan is a visiting professor of history. She was an instructor at the University of Washington and also served as an assistant curator of Chinese art for the Seattle Art Museum. Duan is a graduate of Peking University in China, where she majored in art and art history. She holds a master’s degree and is a doctoral candidate in history at the University of Washington.
Maren Johnson was hired as an assistant professor of Scandinavian studies. She was a teaching assistant in the Scandinavian studies program at the University of Washington, where she taught the Norwegian language. Dr. Johnson is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Scandinavian language and literature from the University of Washington.
Jill Wilson is an assistant professor of education. She was an instructor of music education at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. Dr. Wilson is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. She holds a master’s degree in music education from the University of Northern Iowa and a doctorate in music education from Boston University.
Dr. Weir is a senior lecturer of global affairs at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. She was recently named the inaugural executive director of the Jackson School's new Center for Peace and the Global Good, a hub for scholars and students working to address challenges in human rights and global health.

Dr. Blankenbaker has served as president of the Tarrant County College Northwest campus since 2017. She recently assumed additional responsibilities as the chief academic officer for the community college's online and in-person campuses.
Most recently, Dr. Hooyman was vice president of academic affairs and provost of Northwest Missouri State University. She was the first woman to serve in that role.
Born and raised in Alaska, Dr. O'Hara previously spent more than two decades with the College of Education at California State University, Sacramento. More recently, she was executive director of Sierra College's Nevada County Campus.
