Three Women Named to Vice President Posts at the College of New Rochelle

The College of New Rochelle in New York has announced the appointed of three women to vice president positions. The college enrolls about 4,000 students and women make up about 90 percent of undergraduate student body.

Elaine_WhiteElaine T. White was promoted to vice president of student affairs. Since 2012 she has served as dean of students. Earlier, White was director of student development for Manhattan College in Riverdale, New York.

White is a graduate of the Brooklyn campus of Long Island University. She holds a master’s degree in counseling from Manhattan College.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAColette Geary was named senior vice president for strategic initiatives. Since 2010, she has been vice president for student services. Earlier, she was dean of students at Manhattan College.

Dr. Geary is a graduate of Manhattan College, where she majored in psychology. She holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Stony Brook University in New York and is pursuing a master’s degree in theology at the University of Notre Dame.

betty-robertsBetty Roberts is the new vice president for finance and administration. She was the chief operating officer at Alcorn State University in Mississippi.

Dr. Roberts is a graduate of Tusculum College in Greenville, Tennessee. She holds a master’s degree from the University of Louisville and a doctorate in adult higher education from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
