Jill Deupi was named director of the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami in Florida. She has been serving as director and chief curator of University Museums for Fairfield University in Connecticut. Dr. Deupi was also an assistant professor of art history at Fairfield University. She will begin her new job on August 11.
Dr. Deupi is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the Washington College of Law at American University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Deupi earned a master’s degree in art history from the University of London and a Ph.D. in art history from the University of Virginia.
LouAnne Greenwald was named director of the Paul and Lulu Hilliard Art Museum on the campus of the University of Louisiana Lafayette. She was the principal partner of her own fundraising firm in Washington, D.C. Earlier in her career, she was a development director at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. and taught at the university’s Roski School of Fine Arts.
Greenwald is a graduate of Kent State University in Ohio. She earned a master’s degree in fine arts from the University of Southern California.
With more than 30 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Richtermeyer has spent the past three years as executive vice chancellor for academic affairs and provost at Rutgers University-Camden
Cheryl Norman was appointed president of Ridgewater College in Minnesota and Ellen Kennedy was named interim president of Cape Cod Community College in Massachusetts.
Dr. Scarlatta has led the University of Michigan-Dearbon on an interim basis for the past year. Pending approval from the board of regents, she is slated to become the university's permanent leader on May 22.
Nicole Reaves has been serving as executive vice president and chief programs officer at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, North Carolina. On July 15, she is slated to become the first woman president of Schenectady County Community College within the State University of New York System.
