The Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University in South Carolina has announced promotions and the granting of tenure to four women faculty members.
Erin M. Hawkins was promoted to associate professor in the School of Accountancy. She joined the faculty at the Clemson School of Accountancy in July 2017. Her research interests include auditor judgment and decision making, auditor-client interactions, and qualitative methods. Dr. Hawkins is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she majored in accounting. She earned a Ph.D. in business administration/accounting from the University of South Carolina.
Zhihong Ke is a new associate professor of management. Her general research interests lie at the intersection between economic, social, and technical aspects of information technology with an aim at analyzing mechanisms and designing digital interventions to increase welfare of stakeholders. Dr. Ke earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems and a master’s degree in management science and engineering and from Xiamen University in China. She holds a Ph.D. in information and decision sciences from the University of Minnesota.
