Susan Borrego Appointed Chancellor of the University of Michigan-Flint

borregoSusan E. Borrego was named as the next chancellor and chief executive officer at the University of Michigan-Flint. She will take office on August 1. Currently, Dr. Borrego is vice president for enrollment management, planning, and student affairs at California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Earlier in her career, Dr. Borrego served as vice president for student affairs at California State University, Monterey Bay and as assistant vice chancellor and dean of students at the University of Arkansas.

Raised in Detroit, Dr. Borrego is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho. She holds a master’s degree from Azusa Pacific University in California and a doctorate in education from Claremont Graduate University.
