Three Women in New Teaching Roles

mazureCarolyn Mazure was named the inaugural Norma Weinberg Spungen and Joan Lebson Bildner Professor in Women’s Health Research at Yale University. She is a professor of psychiatry and psychology and associate dean for faculty affairs at the Yale School of Medicine.

Dr. Mazure earned a Ph.D. at Pennsylvania State University and completed postdoctoral research at the Yale School of Medicine.

MollyLandMolly Land is a new professor of law with a joint appointment at the Human Rights Institute of the University of Connecticut. She was a professor at the Institute for Information Law and Policy at New York Law School.

Professor Land is a graduate of Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was a Fulbright scholar at the University of Bonn in Germany and earned her law degree at Yale.

Cindy_BernardCindy Bernard is the inaugural Ruffin Distinguished Artist in Residence at the University of Virginia. The endowed teaching position was established to bring an artist of international status to the university’s studio art program.

Bernard is the founder and the director of the Society for the Activation of Social Space Through Art and Sound.
