Women’s Organization at UMass Offering Three New Support Groups

The Center for Women & Community at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst is offering three seminars this fall to support women members of the campus community. The sessions are available to women in the Five Colleges consortium in the Amherst area.
Mindfulness and Mood: Empowerment Skills for Women is a five-session seminar that will focus on the unique stresses faced by women and how to cope with them.
Can You Hear Me? Real Talk Among Undergraduate Women of Color is a support group for women of color in the Five Colleges.
Women in Academia: Surviving the Dissertation is a support group open to women graduate students who are entering or are in the midst of the dissertation process.
