Yvonne Berry was appointed vice president and chief financial officers at Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine. She was vice president and chief financial officer for the University of New Hampshire School of Law. Previously, she was director of advancement services at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
Berry is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa. She earned an MBA at Rollins College and is a certified public accountant.
Stacy D. Sowell was promoted to associate dean of students at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina. For the past four years, she has served as an admissions counselor at the university. She is the former director of student activities at St. Augustine’s University.
Sowell is a graduate of Shaw University and holds a master’s degree in English and African American literature from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro.
Monica Boyd was appointed director of student professional development at Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She brings over eleven years of prior experience as a member of Career Development Services at Winston-Salem State University.
Boyd is a graduate of Salem College, where she majored in communication. She holds a master’s degree in adult education and training from the University of Phoenix.

Sherwin holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical ethics and a master of public health degree from Brown University.

Dr. Goroff is a graduate of Harvard University. She holds a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Freeman is a graduate of Southern University and earned an MBA at the University of Phoenix.

Dr. Knight holds a master’s degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and a doctorate from the University of Houston. She is the lead editor of the Journal of Teacher Education.

Dr. Jacobs holds a Ph.D. in film studies from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Earlier this year, Jenkins completed her master’s degree in women, gender, and sexuality studies at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.

Dr. Brooks holds bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, all from West Virginia University.

Bright is a graduate of Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. She earned a master’s degree from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts.
