Two Women Appointed to Student Affairs Posts at Virginia Tech

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg has announced the appointment of two women to positions in its Division of Student Affairs.

Division of Student Affairs announces new leadership in key areas | Virginia Tech News | Virginia TechHeather Evans was named interim director of the Virginia Tech Leadership Education Collaborative, a leadership development initiative that will expand and enhance co-curricular and curricular leadership programs. She has been serving as director of fraternity and sorority life at the university. Before joining the staff at Virginia Tech, Evans was associate director of student activities and leadership at Radford University.

Evans is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She holds an MBA from Radford University.

Division of Student Affairs announces new leadership in key areas | Virginia Tech News | Virginia TechSharrika Davis was appointed interim director of multicultural programs and services at Virginia Tech. She has been serving as associate dean of students at the university.

Dr. Davis holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wake Forest University and a doctorate from Virginia Tech.
