The New President of the Lake Washington Institute of Technology

Amy Goings was named the ninth president of Lake Washington Institute of Technology in Kirkland, Washington. The college enrolls more than 4,100 students and women make up about 60 percent of the student body.
Goings has been serving as vice president of operations and college relations at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood. She will begin her new role on July 1.
Goings has been on the staff at Clover Park Technical College since 2004. Previously, she was on the staff at Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington. Earlier in her career, she was a higher education specialist in the office of Congressman Norm Dicks.
Goings is a doctoral candidate in higher education administration at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.
