University of Northern Iowa Reinstates Master’s Degree Program in Women’s and Gender Studies

new_uni_logo3In March 2012, the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls suspended all admissions to its master’s degree program in women and gender studies due to cuts in funding for academic programs on campus.

Now the Iowa Board of Regents has announced that the master’s degree program can once again begin enrolling new students for the 2013 fall semester. The restructured program will have two applied tracks: gender wellness and gender and violence prevention.
