Naomi R. Lamoreaux was appointed the Stanley B. Resor Professor of Economics and History at Yale University. She joined the Yale faculty in 2010 after teaching at Brown University from 1979 to 1996 and at UCLA from 1996 to 2010.
For the past 16 years, Joy Hughes has served as vice president for information technology and chief information officer at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Now she is transitioning to a faculty role as a professor in the Volgenau School of Engineering at the university.
Dr. Hughes is a graduate of Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. She earned a master’s degree in mathematics from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in computer science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in information systems from The Union Institute.
Noreen M. Klein was named associate professor emerita in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg. Dr. Klein joined the Virginia Tech faculty in 1983 and taught undergraduate and graduate courses in marketing management, market research, and consumer behavior.
Dr. Klein holds bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. degrees, all from Pennsylvania State University.
