Cristie Kedroski to Lead Northwest Florida State College

Cristie Kedroski is the new interim president of Northwest Florida State College. She began her interim presidency last month and has recently announced she will not seek the permanent position.

Northwest Florida State College enrolls just under 4,900 undergraduate students, 60 percent of whom are women.

In 2010, Dr. Kedroski joined the Northwest Florida State College community as the vice president of college advancement. She was promoted to senior vice president 10 years later. As head of the college’s foundation, she increased the institution’s assets by more than 70 percent and oversaw over $65 million in grant funding.

Prior to her career in higher education, Dr. Kedroski spent over a decade in various industry operations and marketing leadership roles. She previously served as interim chief operating officer and senior vice president of marketing for Florida’s Great Northwest, an economic development program for 16 counties across northern Florida. She also served as a marketing manager for Office Depot.

Dr. Kedroski completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida, where she majored in marketing and minored in communications. She received her MBA from the University of West Florida, and later returned to the University of Florida to earn her doctorate in higher education leadership.
