Minnie Naylor to Lead the Chukchi Campus of the University of Alaska Fairbanks in Kotzebue

Minnie Naylor has been appointed to serve as the interim director of the Chukchi Campus of the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The campus is located in Kotzebue, Alaska.

The Chukchi Campus, part of UAF’s College of Rural and Community Development, is a two-year public institution. The campus serves the 11 communities within the Bering Strait region, an area of more than 36,000 square miles.

“The Chukchi Campus is the local gateway to the world of career options, Inupiaq language, and culture classes and other opportunities for learning,” Naylor said.

Naylor has been serving as an academic adviser for the University of Alaska’s Rural Student Services. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in rural development from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
