Arapahoe Community College in Litttleton, Colorado, Has Selected Its Next Leader

The Colorado Community College System has announced that Stephanie J. Fujii will be the next president of Arapahoe Community College in Littleton. Dr. Fujii will assume the presidency on July 12.
Arapahoe Community College enrolls nearly 13,000 students according to the most recent data available from the U.S. Department of Education. Women make up 54 percent of the student body.
“Arapahoe Community College is an institution refusing to resign itself to the status quo, but one which strives to do and be more,” said Dr. Fujii. “I am excited and honored about serving and working with ACC and its communities as we seek ambitious investigation in pursuit of meaningful and impactful change through accessible, inclusive, and welcoming environments.”
Dr. Fujii has been serving as vice president of academic affairs at Scottsdale Community College within the Maricopa Community College District in Arizona, a position she has held since 2016. Earlier, she served the entire 10-college district with the Maricopa Center for Learning and Instruction where she planned and administered instructional support programs and services for over 1,600 faculty and instructors.
Dr. Fujii holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s degree in counseling and educational psychology from the University of Nevada. She earned a Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy studies at Arizona State University.
