Minnesota State College Southeast in Winona Selects Its Next Leader

The board of trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities has named Marsha A. Danielson to serve as the next president of Minnesota State College Southeast in Winona. The appointment will become effective July 1, 2021.

Minnesota State College Southeast enrolls just under 2,000 students, according to the most recent data available from the U.S. Department of Education. Women make up 51 percent of the student body.

Since 2016, Dr. Daniel has served as vice president of economic development for South Central College that has campuses in Faribault and North Mankato, Minnesota. She has been on the staff at South Central College since 2007.

Dr. Danielson holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a doctorate in community college leadership from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.
