Deidra Peaslee is the New President of Saint Paul College in Minnesota

The Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities has named Deidra Peaslee as president of Saint Paul College. Since she has been serving as interim president, the new appointment was effective immediately.

St. Paul College enrolls more than 6,600 students, all in undergraduate programs. Women make up 56 percent of the diverse student body.

Dr. Peaslee has been serving as interim president of Saint Paul College since 2019. Previously, she served as vice president of academic and student affairs at Anoka-Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, which enrolls over 11,000 students. She had been on the staff there since 2002. Earlier, Dr. Peaslee served as assistant dean and director of the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University in Chicago.

Dr. Peaslee holds a bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University. She earned a master’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a doctorate from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
