Professor Marsha Huber Honored by the American Accounting Association for Excellence in Teaching

Marsha Huber, a professor of accounting at Youngstown State University in Ohio, has been selected to receive 2018 J. Michael and Mary Ann Cook/Deloitte Foundation Prize from the American Accounting Association The award recognizes teaching excellence in undergraduate accounting education.
Dr. Huber’s research focuses on advancing accounting education through the interdisciplinary application of positive psychology, neuroscience, and educational theories. She joined the faculty at Youngstown State in 2010 after teaching at Otterbein University in Ohio.
Professor Huber is a graduate of Ohio University, where she majored in political science. She earned an MBA from Miami University in Ohio, a master’s degree in applied positive psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in hospitality management from Ohio State University.
Dr. Huber will be honored at the American Accounting Association’s annual meeting in Maryland in August.
