Four Women Who Have Joined the Business School Faculty at Arizona State University

The W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University has 10 new faculty members this fall. Four of the new faculty members are women.
Lauren Chenarides is an assistant professor of agribusiness. She recently completed her Ph.D. in agricultural, environmental, and regional economics at Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Chenarides is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where she majored in mathematics.
Stephie Fried is an assistant professor in the department of economics. She previously served on the economics faculty at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. Dr. Fried is a graduate of Grinnell College in Iowa, where she majored in mathematics. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, San Diego.
Nina Huang is an assistant professor in the department of information technology. She holds master’s degrees in business research and advertising from Michigan State University. Dr. Huang earned a doctorate at the Fox School of Business at Temple University in Philadelphia.
Jessica Pye is a new assistant professor in the department of information systems. Dr. Pye is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she double majored in mathematics and economics. She holds a master’s degree in economics and a Ph.D. in computer information systems from Georgia State University.
