Cornell Scholar Honored by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine

Sharon Center, the James Law Professor of Internal Medicine in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University, received the Robert W. Kirk Award for Professional Excellence from the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. The award honors a member of the organization who has “received national and international recognition for her clinical medical practice, instruction, research or public service.”
Dr. Center is a specialist in liver disease and has made significant scientific contributions to the field of small animal hepatology over the past 30 years.
Dr. Center earned a doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of California, Davis. She completed a small animal medical and surgical internship and an internal medicine residency at Cornell University.
