One Woman Among Three Finalists to Lead the Meridian Campus of Mississippi State University

DHeslepMississippi States University has announced a field of three finalists to be director of the university’s Meridian campus. The campus enrolls about 500 students, including 100 in graduate-level work. About 90 faculty and staff members are employed at Mississippi State University-Meridian.

The three candidates have or will visit campus in the near future for a series of interview and public presentations. One of the three finalists is a woman.

Deborah Heslep is dean of enrollment management and director of admissions marketing at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Dr. Heslep holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration, an MBA, and an educational doctorate, all from Delta State University.
