Dr. Thrash, was the last person to serve as dean of women at Northwestern University. Later, she was the first woman to serve as executive director of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Institutions of Higher Education, a former regional accrediting body for higher education institutions.
For over three decades, Dr. Morris has served in several roles at Tuskegee University including chief of staff to the president and secretary to the board of trustees. Most recently, Dr. Morris served as the director of the university’s Title III program.
Since 2016, Dr. Bennett-Fairs has been serving as vice president for student affairs at Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. Earlier, she was vice president for student affairs at Kentucky State University.
Dr. Morris is a professor of management at the university and has been serving as interim dean of the Andrew W. Brimmer College of Business and Information Science. She served as interim president of the university once before in 2010.
