In Memoriam: B. Leigh Browning, 1964-2015

Leigh Browning, the Jerry Miller Professor of Entrepreneurship and a professor of business communication and marketing at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas, died on April 20 in Amarillo. She was 50 years old.
A native of Sweetwater, Texas, Dr. Browning was a graduate of West Texas A&M University. She held a master’s degree from Kansas State University and a Ph.D. in mass communication and advertising from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Dr. Browning joined the faculty of the College of Fine Arts and Humanities at West Texas A&M in 1991. She moved to the College of Business in 2013.
A scholarship fund has been established in her name at the West Texas A&M University Foundation.
