Two Women Appointed to Dean Posts at Lipscomb University in Nashville

boydLipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, has appointed Deborah Boyd as interim dean of the College of Education. She will also serve as director of the Ayers Institute for Teacher Learning and Innovation. She has been serving as associate dean and director of graduate studies at the university.

Dr. Boyd holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro and an educational doctorate from Tennessee State University.

morelNina Morel was named interim dean of the College of Professional Studies. She has been serving as associate dean at the school and directs the college’s integrated studies and adult degree programs. She is a former professor of education at the university.

Dr. Morel is a graduate of Lipscomb University and holds a master’s degree in education and an educational doctorate from Tennessee State University.
