Two Women Named Directors of University Nursing Schools

Mary Alice Donius is the new director of the School of Nursing at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. Dr. Donius was an associate professor and dean of School of Nursing at the College of New Rochelle in New York.
Dr. Donius is a graduate of D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. She holds a master’s degree and a doctorate in education from Teachers College of Columbia University.
Margaret Ann Wetsel was appointed interim director of the School of Nursing at Clemson University in South Carolina. She is coordinator of the bachelor’s degree completion program for registered nurses at the university. Dr. Wetsel has been on the Clemson faculty since 1985. Her research focuses on the public health implications of poverty and poor nutrition.
Dr. Wetsel is a graduate of Indiana University. She earned a master’s degree in nursing from Ohio State University and a Ph.D. in nursing from the University of Texas at Austin.
