Maureen McAndrew, clinical professor of cariology and comprehensive care at the College of Dentistry at New York University, is the recipient of the Golden Apple Award for Inspiring Careers in Dental Education from the American Dental Association. Dr. McAndrew was recognized for her work in oral health programs and as “an outstanding mentor, willing to share her knowledge in order to enhance the scholarly, professional, and personal development of aspiring and emerging dental faculty.”
Dr. McAndrew, who is also the senior director of professional development at the NYU College of Dentistry, holds a master’s degree in education from Baruch College of the City University of New York. She earned her dentistry degree at New York University.
