Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Meyers has appointed two women to positions in its advancement office. Kimberly Wallace was named director of alumni relations and Nicole Schmidt is the new director of events and special projects.
Wallace has served as interim director of alumni relations since February. She joined the university advancement division in 2006. Wallace earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and a master’s degree in school counseling, both from Florida Gulf Coast University.
Schmidt was a graphics assistant for events and special projects and has been on the staff of the advancement office since 2006. Schmidt is a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University.
