The New Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies at Indiana State University

Lynn Maurer has been selected as the new dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at Indiana State University in Terre Haute. She will take office on January 2.

Since 2010, Dr. Maurer has been serving as associate dean of the graduate school at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. She taught in the political science department at SIUE for 15 years and chaired the department from 2003 to 2010.

Dr. Maurer is a graduate of Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, where she majored in Spanish. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in political science from Ohio State University.
