Three Women Join the Art and Art History Department Faculty at the University of Texas

The department of art and art history at the University of Texas has announced the appointment of three women to its faculty.
Anna Collette is a new assistant professor of photography. Her work focuses on images that “are narrowly perceptible to normal vision.” She is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and holds a master of fine arts degree from the Yale School of Art.
Carma Gorman was appointed associate professor of design. She was an associate professor of art history at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She is the editor of The Industrial Design Reader (Allworth Press, 2003). Dr. Gorman is a graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota, and holds a Ph.D. in art history from the University of California at Berkeley.
Kristin Lucas was named assistant professor of transmedia. She is a graduate of The Cooper Union in New York City and earned a master of fine arts degree from Stanford University in California.
