New Website for Women Created by Utah Valley University

Utah Valley University in Orem has created a new website that will serve as an information resource for its students but also women across the state of Utah. The Utah Women’s and Leadership Project website provides information on associations and support groups for women and lists events that are of particular interest to women. The website may be accessed here.

madsenSusan R. Madsen, the Orin R. Woodbury Professor of Leadership and Ethics at the university’s business school and director of the Utah Women’s and Leadership Project, states “I think that there is a need for leadership development for students. The project’s goal is to provide the information that women are looking for in order to succeed today. It’s a pathway students can use for their education.”

Professor Madsen has been on the faculty at Utah Valley University since 2002. She is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and holds a master’s degree from Portland State University in Oregon and a doctorate from the University of Minnesota.
