The New Dean at The New School

Michelle01Michelle J. DePass has been appointed dean of the Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy at The New School for Public Engagement in New York City. She will also hold the title of Tishman Professor of Environmental Policy and Management.

DePass has been serving as assistant administrator for international and tribal affairs at the Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to joining the EPA, DePass was a program officer for the Ford Foundation.

DePass is a graduate of Tufts University and the Fordham University Law School. She also holds a master of public administration degree from Baruch College of the City University of New York system.
