Babson College Signs Partnership Agreement With Women’s College in Saudi Arabia

Kerry Healey, the new president of Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, has announced an agreement with Dar Al-Hekma College in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Under the agreement Babson will cooperate with the women’s college to support women’s leadership and entrepreneurship opportunities. Dr. Healey recently announced the agreement while addressing the 200-member graduating class in Jeddah.
Dar Al-Hekma College has signed earlier agreements with Columbia University, Lehigh University, and the Fletcher School of Law at Tufts University.
Dr. Healey, the first woman president of Babson, is the former lieutenant governor of Massachusetts. Prior to her political career she taught at Rutgers University, Endicott College, and the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Dr. Healey is a graduate of Harvard University. Then, as a Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar, she earned a Ph.D. at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
