Annette Clark Appointed Dean of the Seattle University School of Law

Annette Clark was selected as the next dean of the Seattle University School of Law. Her appointment is effective on July 1. She is the first graduate of the law school to be named dean.
Dr. Clark joined the law school’s faculty in 1989. In addition to teaching, she has served as associate dean for academic affairs, vice dean, and interim dean. During the 2011-2012 academic year she served as dean and taught at the Saint Louis University School of Law but resigned her post and returned to Seattle in the fall of 2012. Her research is focused on medical liability, bioethics, and legal education.
Dr. Clark is a summa cum laude graduate of Washington State University. She earned a medical degree at the University of Washington and a law degree at Seattle University.
