Adirondack Community College Names Its Next President

DuffyKristine D. Duffy was named the next president of Adirondack Community College in Queensbury, New York. The college enrolls about 4,000 students in undergraduate degree programs. Women make up about 60 percent of the total enrollments. Dr. Duffy will become president on July 1.

Since 2006, Dr. Duffy has been serving as vice president for enrollment management and student development at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York. Previously, she was dean of enrollment management at Cayuga County Community College in Auburn, New York.

Dr. Duffy in a graduate of the College at Brockport, part of the State University of New York system. She holds a master’s degree from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York, and an educational doctorate from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York.
