The New President of Rocky Vista University

Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado, has announced the appointment of Cheryl D. Lovell as its new president. The university is a health sciences institution and includes the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, which enrolled its first students in 2008.
Dr. Lovell recently served as the chief academic officer of the Colorado Department of Higher Education. She is the former associate dean and full professor in the Morgridge College of Education at the University of Denver.
Dr. Lovell holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of West Georgia and a doctorate in higher education from Florida State University.
