How Women Fared in Early Decision Admissions at Two Ivy League Universities

Brown University accepted 550 early decision applicants this year from a record early applicant pool of 3,010 students. Of the 550 students accepted early, 295, or 53.6 percent, are women.
Princeton University accepted 697 students in its single-choice early action admissions program. There were 3,810 applicants for early choice. Of the 697 students accepted early, 49 percent are women.
