Women Making Progress in the College of Engineering at Colorado State University

Colorado State University received the Women in Engineering Initiative Award from the Women in Engineering ProActive Network for its effort to increase the number of women students pursuing degrees in engineering. The number of first-year women students entering the College of Engineering at Colorado State has doubled since 2007.
There were 104 women in the entering class in the College of Engineering in the fall of 2011. An even larger class of women engineering students is expected this fall. In addition the College of Engineering now has 11 women faculty members with tenure.
