The New President of Ashland Community and Technical College

Patricia Kay Adkins was named president of Ashland Community and Technical College in Ashland, Kentucky. The two-year college was founded in 1938 and enrolls about 4,900 students on three campuses. About 55 percent of those enrolled are women.

Dr. Adkins has been serving as president of Yuba College in Marysville, California. She will take over her new position on September 1.

Dr. Adkins holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southern Illinois University. She earned an educational doctorate at Illinois State University.
