New Associate Provosts at the University of New Mexico

The University New Mexico has appointed three associate provosts and two of the positions will be filled by women.
Jane Slaughter was named associate provost for academic personnel and Natasha Kolchevska is the new associate provost for international affairs.
Dr. Slaughter is a professor of history and has taught at the university since 1975. She is a graduate of Coe College and earned a master’s degree in Latin American studies and a Ph.D. in history at the University of New Mexico.
Natasha Kolchevska is a professor of Russian and Russian studies at the university. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois and holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.
