Dr. Proctor has been a professor of history with Utah State University for the past decade. She has published extensively on modern European and world history, as well as the history of Boy Scouting and Girl Guiding/Scouting.
The four women who have been appointed to endowed faculty positions are Mara RuÌbia AndreÌ Alves de Lima at Rutgers University, Kristin Cline at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, Teresa L. Smallwood at the United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia, and Jodi Forlizzi at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
The four women scholars who have been appointed to endowed chairs are Amy Weaver at Youngstown State University, Cynthia Richards at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, Renee Cunningham-Williams at Arizona State University, and Onnolee Nordstrom at North Dakota State University.
Dr. Laurie Joyner served as the president of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, from 2012 to 2015. Prior to joining Wittenberg in 2012, Dr. Joyner served in a number of senior administrative positions, including provost, at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
She was an assistant professor of education at the Lancaster campus of Ohio University. She had served on the Ohio University faculty for the past 25 years.
